Joel Butler, President:

Joel has 18 years experience in the landscape management and snow removal business. Joel is active in MNLA- Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association, MHA and CIC Midwest. He teaches grounds maintenance courses through MHA and Dakota Technical College. He actively participates in classes and seminars offered with MNLA, University of Minnesota and MHA. Joel is a MN state licensed pesticide applicator and a MN state licensed fertilizer applicator. This allows him to diagnose insect infestations, turf diseases and allows for remedies to these problems. Custom blending of fertilizer for client’s sites is also a favorite for Joel. He takes great pride in the organic chemicals applied to client’s sites as “going green” is a large part of the big picture at Suburban Services.

Jay Butler, Landscape Design:

Jay has 18 years experience in landscape design and irrigation. Jay is active in MNLA- Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association, MHA and CIC Midwest. He actively participates in classes and seminars offered with MNLA, University of Minnesota and MHA. Jay’s knowledge of plant species and tree species allows for beautiful and manageable landscape. Flowers and perennials, their location, their tolerance to shade or sun is a specialty of Jay’s.

Sarah Fuller, Director of Marketing:

Sarah has 14 years of on-site property management experience.
Sarah is active in MHA, CIC Midwest and serves on several MHA sub committees. She actively participates in classes and training programs offered by trade vendors and associations in the green industry. Sarah is out visiting our sites on a regular basis to offer support to the on-site staff.

Our Crews:

Our crew supervisors regularly attend classes offered by the University of Minnesota and MNLA to keep them informed of the latest in technology, service and industry trends. Our crews attend a yearly customer service seminar to ensure our customer’s needs are first.
